41 years and counting

Evrigard is proud to celebrate 41 years of manufacturing high-quality PVC and Nitrile hand protection. This proudly South African company, based in the KwaZulu-Natal town of Hammarsdale, supplies gloves to the mining industry nationwide.

“In our 41 years of manufacturing, we are proud to have produced 111 million pairs of gloves, and we will strive to produce improved quality and larger quantities in the years to come,” says Leslie Fibiger, Evrigard’s commercial director. “Customers and their employees’ safety are our highest priority and we do not compromise on quality to ensure integrity and transparency of our products.”

He adds that Evrigard’s leading range of hand protection offers exceptional value, longevity and ultimate protection against a multitude of mechanical, chemical and heat risks in the workplace. “We invest in our future with research and development in continuous product evaluation and improvements.”

One of the products being researched and developed is a new range of PVC gloves that are SABS: 1228 accredited. “Our fully coated PVC gloves offer exceptional protection for general handling and mining industries. They have also been tested against the Defence Standard, and we are the only compliant manufacturer in Africa pertaining to the PVC mining toxicity index.
