Securex 2023 will be held at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand from 6 to 8 June 2023, together with A-OSH Expo, Facilities Management Expo, and Firexpo.

“Exhibitors benefit not only from the presence of the visitors to the co-located exhibitions, but furthermore from the delegates attending the Securex Seminar Theatre, the Saiosh Seminar Theatre, the Facilities Management Expo, and the Working at Height Theatre. The networking opportunities are unrivalled, allowing exhibitors to reconnect with current clients as well as meet with potential new ones.”

A two-year absence stimulated the appetite of the exhibition-starved visitors to Securex 2022 recently. Securex provided its 5 359 visitors (7 422 in total when combined with the co-located shows) with the premier networking opportunity they had been waiting for since mid-2019.

Access control, IT infrastructure, and cyber security technology were the predominant features visitors mentioned as reasons for attending the show. Other areas of interest included fire systems, alarms, biometric systems, security and guarding services, risk management services and solutions, training, vehicle security, integrated and building management systems, and perimeter protection equipment.

“It was refreshing to see that 83% of visitors either make or influence purchasing decisions and 71.8% of visitors came with the intention of sourcing solutions or services,” notes Anderson.

He adds that the exhibition’s partnership with leading industry bodies and institutions provides exhibitors with access to a wider market sector through collaborative marketing programmes.
